I had planned to release the game update in May, but, some weeks ago, I decided to migrate the game from Godot 3.5 to Godot 4.2 so that it would be easier to develop. To sum it all up, I'm having to go through the timelines that were already done and redo some code scripts. However, this will bring several new features that were not planned to come out now.

The first of these is the day/night system. Now, you will be able to change the time on that icon near the coins. It will also have a day count with a sleeping system. I'm still working on the artwork for these scenes and I'll have more to show soon.

The second big addition is an inventory! we will have collectible items in scenes and books with bonus content within the game. you will like it 😁

The other big change is the save system! Migrating to Godot 4.2 made it easier to implement a load/save system that keeps the thumbnail of the scene where you left off. It still has some bugs, but it will soon be working 100%.

I believe that the main scene of this update will be with Elara, so I don't want to give spoilers here. But another big change we had was in the animation (in the demo I released on newgrounds there were some comments about the animation being a little truncated). I took some time to learn how to animate in after effects and I think I managed to improve the quality a lot. We will even have animation speed controls.

A lot of what I did last month was history and code, now I'm going to focus on the arts so I can show you more.
