Nessa doesn't think to appreciate the octopus in the same light here, though. The act of slowly being swallowed whole is a bit too distracting for her ❤

Not to worry, she'll have plenty of time in the octopus' dark, slippery stomach to ruminate on the whole experience (・ωｰ)～☆

This was fun to put together 0w0 One detail I would have liked to refine is the subtle transparency in the water. If I drew the pic from a viewing angle closer to the water-level, transparency wouldn't make much of a difference, but in "real" water at this angle, there would be more definition visible right below the surface :P

Originally I went for a more "minimalist" approach where only Nessa and her pred had color, but this left the water looking more like milk (or something akin to it~) >w< To compromise, I splashed some of the base colors from Nessa's skin, her hair and the octopus' skin down below the blue water's level. This ended up adding that last bit of definition I was hoping for, since without it the water looked too solid and almost creamy.

As a bonus to this post, there's a version attached without these reflections to show off what I mean :3 There's also a third version with just plain-white, if you prefer milk over water ❤
