Little Update (Patreon)
Content
Ok so. What have I been doing the past few weeks and why am I not back yet? I have:
-Set up a second recording space in the house again (this involved throwing out 70% of what I own and renting a storage unit again) This is the bulk of what I've been doing. I can't believe how much I've let go of but the room is almost ready to start recording in.
- Been really thinking hard about my daily life and how to best optimize my time for success. The year is already half over and I haven't done what I wanted.
-Thinking about new tiers
I am going to be doing a new diary tier every second day right after I do some content for the lower tiers to make up for lost time. I'll explain that in a video this week.
-Come up with a daily schedule I can adhere to that keeps me on track with tiers, sponsored content, improving my skills and our big asmr projects:
Schedule
10:00 am - Wake up
11:30-2:30 - Edit diary tier and set it to render, then tutorials. First I am doing Nuke compositing for superior green screening, 3d motion tracking, rotoscoping and live action integration with 3D objects. I'll replace this with another program when I feel I have a good understanding. I've decided on MAYA/3ds max for 3d stuff, Nuke for compositing but still using premiere for timeline editing and audio, After Effects because I have adobe plug ins, and not sure if I'll leave mudbox for zbrush.
3:30-6:30 - Work on BIG ASMR videos (carnival, baba yaga), this is VFX portfolio planning time. edit and render diary here if haven't yet today.
6:30-9:30 - Work on sponsored ASMR or public channel videos, or edit and render a report for $1 tier on BIG ASMR progress
11:00 pm - 12:00 am - record $5 tier and $10 tier videos in basement.
Right now I need to finish the sponsored video I'm working on but wanted to use Mocha in after effects for the end of it.
My issue has been I set up videos and have the lighting how I want but am not actually ready to record/am not allowed quiet time in the house. So I can't record anything else. The second recording space means I can do other things without disturbing too much the main "set". But it does mean I need additional lighting equipment/second tripod, and can't use all my mics because the main mics are already set up in the scene. I need to figure out a system for this. I'll think about that next.
