Hey there. Hope I'm not bothering you.
I've been looking over my old stuff and am just shocked how I got so many views because to me a lot are visually pretty good but the audio is horrible, with long pauses that neither trigger nor hold my attention. I personally wouldn't be able to sit through that.
But then a lot of my videos aren't bright enough or don't have enough contrast.
I've heard many times "you're too hard on yourself, you're a perfectionist". It's not something I need to hear and it's not something I desire to change. With that said, I do appreciate the sentiment.
However, I'd love to get some more honest critical feedback about the last 3 videos.
Where is the sound at for you, not in terms of personal taste, but objectively?
For example a lot of my stuff tends to be harsh on the high end and thus I try to use eq to knock that down. I also notice I pause less and my voice seems more relaxed lately.
Where is the background noise at for you?
Do you find the grade on the footage too dark?
Are the channels balanced? Is one ear louder than the other?
