Hey guys, Hope this hasn’t been submitted too late. I just had a quick question about the parallels between post-9/11 zeitgeist and todays, post- 10/7 climate, now more than 4 months after the events in Israel/Palestine took place. There’s obviously been a very small number who have publicly spoken out against Israel’s war crimes (Susan Sarandon, Melissa Barrera, Steve Coogan, maybe someone like Hasan Piker also, considering his reach). Do you guys see any difference between the assumed wisdom/ostracisation then vs. now? Is it worth even considering these cultural ramifications considering the daily attacks and casualty numbers increasing on Palestinian soil?
