To celebrate Christmas (and at the behest of our Superdelegate patrons), we took a flight on Victor Ziegler's Lolita Express to a big mansion in Long Island, where we watched Stanley Kubrick's EYES WIDE SHUT (1999). We had a great time revisiting a movie that only gets richer and stranger with every viewing.

my only time watching this movie was when i lived in China, via some online streaming service. As far as I recall, the final cut was about an hour long, and left me very confused. perhaps the ideal way to watch?

I’m way late with this comment, but it’s a fun part of Michael and Us lore: Way back in 2019, Will mentioned this remarkable film, and I asked the boys on Twitter if they’d devote a full episode to it. A response came that it would be hard to match a then-recent Chapo episode about the film, but let me tell you, boys: your episode is FAR superior!
