In the final months of his life, Walt Disney devoted much of his energy to designing a new kind of American city that he hoped would be a model for the future. Though E.P.C.O.T. We watched Disney's 1966 pitch film for his insane project. PLUS: how Martin Scorsese nearly cost Disney a relationship with China.

There's a mural of him here in Kansas City and I hate it.

Although I generally prefer when there is a "movie-movie" at the center of the discussion, this episode was really good: very interesting, very entertaining, and timely. Also, Luke's deadpan account of the Winslows at Disney World, especially the explanation of Steve Urkel/Stefan "Ur-kell," had me in stitches.
