I guess some Britons were slaves to the Norse? Some got snatched by Barbary Pirates, and I'm sure that the Romans did some slaving in Britannia (of Picts), but the idea that Britain experienced anything comparable to the Trans-atlantic slave trade is B.S.. Cleese is coming to Calgary next month, and I'm torn on meeting him.
