The great thing about bad articles is: they don't stop makin' 'em. In this chill and jolly episode, we toss around some of our most beloved bad pieces of bad writing, including articles by such living legends as Jeffrey Wells, Jonathan Chait, and Jerry Seinfeld. PLUS: we discuss Toronto's most eccentric film exhibitor.

This was fun. Jonathan Chait is the worst.

Will finally truly out-ironied me with the opening of this episode. I usually feel like I'm on the right side of understanding what's a bit and what's not. But *what* was happening when Will went into that very matter of fact "did you know" section about gay reads of the Wizard of Oz? Is Wizard of Oz not gay now? Is it no longer a gay movie first and... whatever else, second? Was that historically contingent? Do the kids now have to 'learn' about a period when Wizard of Oz 'was' considered gay, and now it's just about monkeys again or whatever? What's happening? When am I? What even is this? I want to go home!

A little more context for the history of The Wizard of Oz as a "gay" film: https://epgn.com/2016/10/20/the-wizard-of-oz-in-the-lgbt-community/
