First Dylan on Letterman was with Latino Punks from LA the Plugz. Legend goes that they had a set list, but minutes before goin live he asks- "do you know don't start me talkin ( a sonny boy williamson song) that ny dolls play?" There's a video of that on youtube, it ends when Dylan breaks a string.
