New payment tier: The Superdelegates (Patreon)

First off, a very Happy Thanksgiving to all our listeners in the United States! And wherever in the world you're tuning in from thanks, as always, for listening to and supporting the show. 

As you've probably noticed by now, we're producing about twice as much content as we were before. We love doing the show, but it's undeniably a lot more work. Nonetheless, we don't ever want to create extra tiers within our patrons that contain exclusive content - anyone paying at Al Gore level is always going to get all the non-free content we record. That's a promise. 

Having said that, we wanted to give anyone who's able and willing the opportunity to support the show with a $10/month contribution if they so choose. And, since we get so many suggestions about possible movies and other items you'd all like to hear us discuss, we thought it might be fun to offer the right to propose and vote on films/other items as an added perk. 

How will this work? We might have to experiment for a month or two but the basic idea is this: anyone who contributes at the new Superdelegate level will be able to propose any film or other cultural item and add it to a pool of those proposed by others every month. Once we have our pool, there will be a poll, exclusive to Superdelegates, who will then vote on which thing they'd most like to hear us discuss. We'll then do a runoff of the top 4-5 and do an episode on the winner each month. 

Admittedly this might take a bit of trial and error, but we're going to take our first go at it in December - assembled Superdelegates permitting...
