Hey, everyone. I often get asked the same questions and that's made me realize the importance of having clear rules and guidelines. In this post, I will explain how the whole "Request an anime series reaction" works. Some stuff here are new rules and some are just explanations of current rules.

1: Certain reward tiers allow you to request an anime series to react to of a certain length. When you request a reaction series, your request will be placed at the bottom of the waiting list if there is one. You only need to be at that reward tier when you make your request. You can remove or lower your pledge the next month and the series you requested will still be reacted to when a slot opens up for it.

2: Requesting individual seasons or arbitrary segments of a series is not allowed. Requesting an anime means requesting the whole thing. This includes the OVAs and movies (unless they're recap movies) that are a part of it. Here are some examples of what I mean:

Example 1: If you wanted to request Beelzebub (a 60 episode series) you would need to pledge "Kami-sama tier" because it's above 50 episodes. You can not cheat the system by requesting the first 50 episodes as "Transfer Student tier" and then the last ten episodes as the "Yandere tier".

Example 2: You can request Dagashi Kashi (24 episodes) at the "Childhood Friend tier", but you can not request Dagashi Kashi Season 1  (12 episodes) as the "Yandere tier" one month and then season 2 (12 episodes) the next month

3: When requesting a reaction series, let me know how many episodes there are total. If an episode is longer than 34 minutes, it counts as two episodes. In the case of movies, every 25 minutes of it counts as an episode. So, a 50 minute movie would be worth two episodes.

4: I do allow you to request a re-watch of a series I've already seen, but please specify that's what you want when you request it. Otherwise, I will assume you're unaware that I've already seen it.

5: Please confirm with me that I'm willing to react to a series before you make your pledge.

6: Make sure you're requesting something that is actually possible for me to find. If I can't find it, I can't react to it.

7 You're only allowed to request Japanese anime. No live action stuff or cartoons from a different country.

8: Please do not argue with me. If you are confused about something, I'm usually willing to answer questions, but I will not be drawn into an argument. At the end of the day, this is a hobby. It's supposed to be fun. If you're making it less fun for me, I will probably choose not to deal with you. Even if it loses me potential money.

Patreon support isn't buying a product. It's a wonderful way to help someone keep doing what they do. Reward tiers are a way of thanking you for that support. Please don't treat reward tiers like you're buying a product from a soulless cooperation.

If you have any questions about these rules and guidelines, feel free to leave a comment. It's definitely possible I will have to edit this a bit.
