And now for something... completely different.

Literally.

I'm contemplating which way to go for the next real new series.

I can't keep writing sequels. :D

Give me a hand and let me know your thoughts.

Even though I love Runner with all my heart, it would be interesting to see a full fledged sci-fi series concept from you.

I suppose we'll see. :D Congrats on being the second person to find this? I haven't even posted a link to it anywhere yet.

Not sure if your going to combine authors but perhaps a novel about the experiment and collapse eluded to in Wild Wastes.

I'm a sucker for a good sci-fi. I personally view LitRPGs like Otherlife to be offshoots of the old school cyberpunk/post-humanist style sci-fis. I rather think you'd do well branching out in that direction. :)

So, there's a crossover in the middle of Wild Wastes 2, and a big chunk of the puzzle is revealed. :)

You have already done the urban and "normal" fantasy setting. And while Otherlife had some science fiction, it was really a background thing. Either that or continue your litrpg that you posted on royal road.

Runner is the Alpha and the Omega.

I think Otherlife concluded well. But if you wanted to bring Runner back you could have him pop into any of your other stories like Super Sales and Wild Wastes. Why, you ask? Well, the last thing he said he was going to do was to create another reality in which the US won independence. So this leads me to believe that he could also have created the world of Super Sales and Wild Wastes. Just a thought.

I would definitely enjoy a science fiction story.
