Seems like you guys got quite a bit of snow! It was even reported in our news media. Snow-covered environment is beautiful, isn't it? I know the little ones loved it! I don't really like winter, but the snow - I love it. Everything is so white and pretty, not to mention the crunchy sound it makes under your foot! I always think the snowy branches are the best part about winter! Something we don't always get, unfortunately. Snow does come with its own problems though, like having to plough the snow from your driveways and the fact that snow - especially melting snow - is really heavy! It also hides everything that's beneath the snow, which creates many dangerous situations here. Many people drown when they go walking on thin ice in the beginning of winter, thinking it's either ground or the ice is thick enough to carry a person. And when you get lots of snow, it's gonna create floods in spring! But yes, with healthy common sense, snow is a lovely thing that can be mostly enjoyed - especially if it's only there for a short time. Just don't go walking on duckboards now! P.S. I can't imagine how the snowbloke got its name! Hairy is quite the name for a bald snowman! :D
