I agree, Oscar. Communication is key. Definately more postive gay discussions in the media here, recently. Some prefectures talking about gay marraige and so on. Also some discussion on a national level. Japan is always slow on social issues, isn't it.

Thanks for the funny imagery of the old men making growling noises while attacking pure mistresses! :D I wonder how much of an impact the massive porno industry has on this in Japan. Funny to think, really, that a society that rejects sex, has such a thriving industry. Quite understandable too - seeing how their culture is - that people are much more willing to masturbate furiously, instead of humping their partner. But man, the sex industry does paint a very perverted image of the Japanese society. Not saying it reflects it in any way, but since the people are very silent about sex outside of certain contexts, it kind of feels like the Japanese people keep their fantasies to themselves. Whether that's a good thing or not, I do not know. But it does raise the question - what is the government going to do about it? It's been discussed even in my country's media, that the birthrates are decreasing there rapidly. I think the Japanese government has tried tackling this in some way, but seeing how they deal with other issues, I find it difficult to believe that they have managed to solve anything in a meaningful way. The population is aging already, so they need to act fast! I know, an impossible equation - change is slow in Japan. Maybe give them 20 years, and the old grannies and grandpas will finally start copulating!
