Oi! Lacrosse is Canada's official national sport! It has it's origins among the 1st Nations peoples who inhabited these lands. (Yeah, but ask the average Canuck to name our official national sport, where it comes from, how it's played, what the rules are, how much a stick costs, what equipment to wear, what the positions are called, the names of any teams, or where you can join up, and they likely couldn't tell you. Neither could I, apart from it being our national sport, and that it comes from the 1st Nations peoples. We're more for the good ol' hockey game, we are.)
