Due to the size of the final chapters of the series (usually around twice my usual chapter length) there's going to be a delay to the February extra chapter's release. Instead of coming out on the 1st it will be coming out on the 8th, which gives me a little more breathing room work-wise. Apologies for the delay, I hope you'll enjoy both the final arc of the Guide and Scriven when it comes out!

No need to apologise for making sure to do a good job. If writing the climax of the Great Siege of Keter to the usual standard takes more time and attention than usual, then so be it.

take your time. every chapter is better than the last.

No worries, EE. We'll wait 👌 Btw. Maybe it's better to switch for 1 chapter / week for main storyline? Chapters are twice as big now, seems fair

Take your time. It's also fine if you want to focus more on the Guide, or skip a release entirely. Just focus on not burning out :)

I am grateful that you communicate when there is going to be a delay, it shows how deeply you care, but you don't owe an apology. I'm here supporting you because of your exquisite storytelling and I'd rather delay every chapter from now until the end than have you rushed of your feet and suffering. Suffering doesn't make great art, it just makes miserable artists.

Take your time, i think we all prefer quality over quantity and you having enough oppertunity to take care of yourself.

To repeat my comment on the subreddit: I wouldn't mind if you fell back to one chapter per week. It's not as if we have another volume to go after this, we have the time, and you've been delivering even better quality than usual.
