Lily and Angel Dialogue (Patreon)

I wrote down a little drabble betwee Lily and her angel, I haven't given him a name yet since I want it to fit his character perfectly so I'm in no rush with that yet. The dialogue starts with him and then to Lily, then him, then Lily, etc. etc. Just trying to really focus on the writing to get a better feel for their personalities! If you have anything thoughts or something witty I should add, let me know. Of course remember, this is just a drabble and may not be part of the final game.

A: “Well bless my ass and call me baby Jesus, can you actually see me? The terror on your face tells me you can see me. I am so glad that I’m finally able to personally meet you!”

A: “Uhm.. I guess in this case, you meet me.”

L: “And exactly who the fuck are you? What the fuck did you make me do?!”

A: “You’ve always had quite the mouth on you, Anyways, i’m your personal angel! My name is ___, but no need to tell me who you are, Lily. I have known you since the day you were born so it brings so much joy in my heart to finally speak to you face to fa-”

L: “Wait! Do you really expect me to believe you… DEMON?”

A: “E-excuse me, you think i’m a what?”

L: “ “Uhh, what? Huh?” What do I look like, some kind of moron?”

*interrupts him* (add details of this bit later)

“Well i’m not as dumb as you think I am. Summoning an angel, really? That is the worst lie, everyone knows you can’t summon an angel. There is way more evidence of demons being summoned then there are footage of angels.”

A: “That’s because demons are utter imbeciles and aren’t as slick as us when it comes to hiding, they feed off of attention of humans. Sure, mortals may think they aren’t able to summon an angel, but my question for you is… Why not?”

“Think about it. Demons can be almost as powerful as angels, so of course we can be summoned. It just has to be done correctly and by God, have you done it perfectly.”

L: “No offense or anything, but I’m pretty disappointed.”

A: “Disappointed, but why? I thought this is what you wanted.”

L: “Well for starters I tried to summon an incubus, the one that I was reading about from the book. Sexy sharp teeth, tentacles, an endless hunger for sex. I wanted that, not some vanilla soft boy.”

A: “My dear, isn’t it terribly hypocritical for a virgin to be calling me vanilla?”
