It's the middle of summer (at least in the northern hemisphere), and it's really freaking hot. I hope you all are able to comfortably make it through. Stay cool. Heat exhaustion is no joke, and heat stroke is a devil-fucker.

July marks the one-year anniversary of Endara Chronicles. Technically released on the 10th last year, everything has come a long way. I appreciate everyone's continued support very much. Thank you.

Now, on with the update.

The base imaging for 0.7 is completed. There's usually some that need to be redone or added later, but I won't know until I get into building and polishing the writing. The rough image count for 0.7, before going into the animating was right around 1200 separate images. A bunch are sprites, but that means there's going to be more than 1200 different images in the 0.7 update alone.

As for the animations (and supporting images)... there are 16 scenes that need animations by my count. A few of them have multiple animations, and some have many animations with different characters. Take that as you will. I can't ruin the surprises.

They are getting done rather quickly now that I've learned several tricks and short-cuts to be more efficient. I don't have a total count of how many animations there are going to be, but right this moment, it's sitting at 22, and I'm about a quarter way through the list. A few more sandbox animations might make their way into 0.7 as well.

I'm hoping for a late-August release date for 0.7. A lot of it depends on the bigger animations to be done and also things happening in that annoying thing referred to as "the real world." I will keep you up to date with everything. A more definite date of release will be posted as soon as I know, and then soon after that will be the changelog for 0.7.
