June 25, 2023: 0.6 SE Released... and a few other things. (Patreon)

Warm day!

The 0.6 SE version of ECA is available for download in the Patreon section of Discord, along with the 0.6 Patron's Player Guide. You all have my continued thanks for the support. It's humbling to me to know there are players willing to pay hard-earned money for a creation of my own making. It's awe-inspiring.

You will notice there's no links here posted on Patreon for the downloads. There's a couple reasons for this, and I should explain and offer a solution for the situation.

First, there's some concern among the AVN game community regarding Patreon's support for this content. Make no mistake, Patreon is pretty fucking cool. They're willing to allow us to create content in adult entertainment, but they are at the mercy of companies like PayPal and Payoneer. Keeping actual NSFW content (including downloads) off Patreon is a security measure in case Patreon receives complaints from someone like PayPal.

The second reason is because Patreon has it's patron-only content scraped and added to certain websites, bypassing supporters. While I don't personally have a problem with it, it's an affront to you all. One of the benefits of being a patron is getting the SE version, and getting it earlier than others get the PE version for free.

They're not stealing from me. They're stealing from you.

To combat this, I'm going to keep the links off the Patreon posts for now. If you need the links, and can't get or don't want to get on Discord, send me a message here and I will get you the links to you in a private message.

Additionally, I'm working on getting a forum website set up for everyone, including non-patrons, that will host the download links. This will be a fix for both problems.

The last thing I want to go over doesn't really affect you all, but it's a change and you all should know.

As of today, I'm switching over to a pay-up-front subscription model on Patreon. This is being done for a variety of reasons. If you want to know why, send me a message and I can explain in more detail.
