October 17, 2022 - 0.4 (Patreon)

It's been a little while since I've posted, so wanted to give everyone an update on how the 0.4 version is going, and a little on what to expect with this.

The most visible additions with this update is going to be the story and scenes. I'm still not sure how many "counted" scenes are going into this update. When I say "counted", I mean ones that get marked in the scene totals in the journal. I think it's at something like 57 or 58 right now. The 0.4 update will have somewhere between 40 and 55, basically doubling the size of the story up until now.

Included with these is a beginning/expansion on the main story-line of the game. Up until 0.3/0.3.1, most of what was put into the story was the background and setting. It was designed to give the player (and me) a base on which to understand the characters, the various mini-systems, and get comfortable with everything. Starting with 0.4, the main part of the story really begins. There are scenes already in the game leading into it, and I'm pretty sure you guys know which ones they are. Some of those 40 to 55 scenes are directly part of the main story. They can't really be skipped, but depending on previous choices and relationships, some things will be different.

This doesn't mean the already-established characters are not getting content. They are, and their individual stories are going to start to focus towards where the player will either have them in the main character's life forever... or not.

With all the additions being put into 0.4, it is going to make updating the Journal absolutely necessary. I'm not sure how it will look exactly, but some parts of each character's journal page are going to be removed and others will be added. A more in-depth explanation of this will be posted later when I'm actually getting to work on that part.

A few more characters are going to be introduced in 0.4, though none of them will be primary love interests. Some will get NSFW scenes in this update or later, such as the young women in the bordello/brothel. Others are plot-characters and are not meant to be romantic/intimate interests, but... you never know?

There will be more added to sandbox interactions (especially repeatable NSFW scenes/animations) going in, too, but it won't be a huge amount. There may seem to be not as much NSFW content in 0.4 as a whole depending on what choices have been made prior to 0.4, and choices made within 0.4. I intend to do a sandbox expansion after 0.4 with all the primary love interests (Genny, Katira/Goblin, Cali, Reece, Lerran) and secondary love interests (Erranda, Iris, Yanwei) receiving a boost in NSFW content in a 0.4.1 or maybe 0.5 update in the early part of 2023.

Patrons: If you have a specific action you want with a specific character in sandbox scenes, let me know. If it is something I'm okay doing, I'll put together something for the sandbox update after 0.4.

Also likely to happen is some tweaks to the gardening, trading, and other functions to give a little more advantage to the player, but keep in mind the game isn't designed to be a grind. You don't need hundreds of silver, massive amounts of ingredients, and tons of potions. It is designed to be easy to get materials and requirements to trigger scenes, and the scenes are designed to be triggered easily and quickly, especially if you are pursuing all the characters as love interests.

Once I am done with the primary writing in 0.4, I'll be moving on to doing images and posting them on Discord rather than here on Patreon. There will be some banners and promo SFW images posted here, but anything scene-specific will only be able to be found on the Discord channels.
