Strip will update every Friday from now on. I will release the pencils, then inks each week with the final strip landing every Friday. No more delays, no more lack of communication on my end. I'm back to myself now. Thank you for sticking out the past several months with me. I'll do my absolute best to make up for the lack of content going forward. Love y'all.

Boy was this one a pain in my rump. I moved the panels around a bit and tightened up the paneling in the last few panels 'cause I felt it improved the overall flow of it. Things are about to pick up in the story so I don't expect these to get any easier. I could theoretically pump out two of these a week but the quality would take a significant hit (as you can see from back in January when I was trying shorter, faster strips) and I'd rather take the time to make these look as good as possible. I'm not a real artist, so I have to strive to make these things look even presentable.

On an unrelated note, we all just learned tonight that Akira Toriyama passed away at the age of 68 and it's a tremendous loss for the world of manga and comic art. Toriyama's work was a huge, and I mean HUGE inspiration to me and probably THE reason I draw comics for a living. Everyone watched Dragon Ball Z back in the day (myself included) but it was the manga (back in the day when you had to buy manga in comic book issue form via Viz) that just lit the fire under me. Up until I first read Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, my drive was to write illustrated fantasy stories and books. Dragon Ball showed me the raw power of the medium of manga and I knew then and there that I wanted to make manga of my own.
All this is really just to say, thank you Akira Toriyama. The world is a colder, lonelier place without you. You will always be my hero.
