1209 - Inks (Patreon)

Alright, I'm going to stop with the promising of quick turn-arounds since everytime I do, shit winds up taking much longer than expected. So much of the pencils required reworking and fixing. For the record, I worked on this pretty well nonstop since the pencils went up. It was a real mess. I'm sorry it took a couple of days to get it all fixed, but it just wasn't presentable without all the reworking. Colours shouldn't be near as difficult to put down, but I'm not gonna set a date this time just so I don't wind up promising something I can't deliver.

I used to take a day or two off between updates, but my output takes so long now that I'm not gonna be doing that anymore. If I'm awake and not having to deal with irl stuff, I'm gonna be working on these strips. I may not be able to pull off the rapid-fire updates I did back when the art was simpler, but I can sure as hell move at a faster pace than this.

January I'm aiming to start Collar(ed)6 part two, which I'll have to lock behind the 6$ patron wall. With inflation, our rent having gone up and my losing patrons due to slower output, I don't have much of a choice. I considered opening commissions, but my methods and equipment are too primitive to properly deliver satisfactory work. I'm a bit of a relic. And not very good. >.>

Anyways! The final strip will have an actual background, I just don't include them in the Inks because I typically do the backgrounds separate and put the characters over them. I'll be back shortly with the finished product! Thank you all for staying with me, despite the slower output. I'm giving it my all. Love y'all~
