This is the last of this segment, I promise. Next strip we'll be in another scene and stuff will begin happening. Sometimes I like having talking head strips that let me take it a little easier, other times I can't stand doing them. This was somewhere in the middle, so I hope it came out alright.

I included the pencils version of this one (which includes the first draft of the Blackstone/Sixx bit that I just wasn't pleased with. Y'all have no idea how many times I wind up doing a pic over and over because I just can't make it work, I swear. In this case I thought it was presentable enough to demonstrate. If you're wondering about the lack of hair on either of them, it's because I usually have to draw Sixx's ponytail on another piece of paper, then add it in. The limitations of being a hack who works on computer paper and all that >.>

I'll be back in several days with the next strip. So far the 'smaller chunks' are working out for me. It's far less stress and I'm producing more per week this way so for now, I'm gonna keep going this route. As always thank you for the love and support everyone! I love reading  your comments, regardless of how related they are to whatever I've posted so feel free to talk at me below! See y'all in a few days~ Love y'all~!

I think, things become hot soon. Can't wait for more. And these sketches just amazing. Shows, step by step, how picture drawn.

I'm a bit confused about the word choice. Mistress Blackstone says she's going to be in her personal carriere, and that's either career, quarry, or stone-pit, and is a community in Mississippi. So she's going to work in a quarry in an unincorporated community in Mississippi? I don't understand what she's saying there. Did you mean chambre?

Its one way to call a racecourse in French, especially if you're basing it off the Old Occitan and Galician word Carreira, which means "a path usually large enough for a cart" or "to race"

well "Aventurine's" Glance doesn't looks healthy, as if she hadn't slept for days!:/

if you're using "electronic paper" for your drawing, it's perfectly reasonable to use as many "layers" (that's what most artists call them, methinks) while drawing. start with one or more "pencil" layers for sketching, then do an "ink" layer on top of that, then do color and effects layers on top of that and finally dialog bubbles. It's fine to draw the pencil sketch of the heads, and then add a different pencil of the ponytail, ink it in another layer, then hide the layers you don't need. All reasonable, and used by many artists. You're in good stead. Keep the faith.

Wonderful ^^ can't wait for more^^ i wonder what talent that is

I think Sixx had a similar look to her eyes shortly after Blackstone sent her into subspace, so it might also be due to that in Aventurine's/Ginger's case. In either case, yeah... doesn't look like things are going great for her...

It is certainly going to be very interesting to see what exactly happens with this promised reward from Blackstone, since that new talent sounds potentially very powerful indeed, with this helping to explain why exactly Zircon was so hard to take down in comics #1147 and #1148; before Trina caught her second wind (with some help from Laura) and snapped her out of Blackstone's control. But I could also see this potential gift causing Blackstone's downfall, especially if Ginger does end up being snapped out of her Aventurine persona and she is still able to use the trick against them! It does seem like Blackstone is extremely focused on her own plans to personally train Michelle as her rubber pony-girl right now (feeling very confident that Michelle won't make any more attempts at escaping; thanks having successfully shut down Trina's rescue attempts, doing so without even seeming to break a sweat, ripping whatever self-confidence Michelle had left to shreds), using her own personal training track for the training sessions; leaving Ginger's Aventurine persona free to carry out her current assignment (namely investigating what had happened to Zircon, given Trina's failed attempt at rescuing Michelle means that Zircon and some of the others had been defeated) without any form of supervision; while Linda might have only pretended to have accepted this role as Aventurine's new charger in order to wait for the right time to carry out her own rescue attempt... But it is certainly looking like this is going to be an interesting scene change, either moving ahead in time a certain amount (jumping ahead to Michelle's private training with Blackstone or another major event), showing us the viewpoint of some other characters (either checking in with Nora and company, as they begin making their way to Blackstone's kingdom, Ginger and Linda carrying out the task which was given to them; or maybe even Zircon, Midnight and Sardonyx, as they attempt to find some way they can help out against Blackstone); maybe even a combination of both items?
