Wish I could join the convo but phase 4 has been a bit lack lustre for me so I prefer to wait and watch em at home now. I can lie in bed, have a cuppa and some toast, pause when I want, no one is making noise and my telly is awesome. Cinemas kinda suck now I think about it. Fingers crossed for Kang being menacing as hell.

I would say Picard Season 3 has had a far better opening episode than the previous seasons. (although seriously – Laris seems in far better health than him and is a former Romulan agent. Why doesn’t she just go with them?) But it feels more Star Trekky. Of course we won’t be able to judge it properly until the whole season is done. Plenty of time to screw it up.

Finally saw it and it was just okay. Probably the weakest of the three. It felt incomplete like a lot of things I've seen. I dont know if it has to do with covid or what, but it seems like a lot of shows are skipping that final polish that expands on characters or finishes subplots or gives underutilized characters a few more scenes. Boba Fett felt like a first draft. Antman, Obi-wan, and a few others have felt like second drafts. Kang was great though.
