The Matrix Revolutions Caravan Of Garbage

After the somewhat mixed reception of Reloaded at time of release the Matrix Trilogy concluded with Revolutions that same year. The idea was to wrap up the story of Neo, Trinity, Morpheus and Agent Smith in the most epic way possible! A mech battle with characters we didn't recognize and a fight in the rain. It's not all bad though, in fact, many consider it to be a worthy conclusion. Until The Matrix Resurrections that is. Thanks for watching to our Caravan Of Garbage review. Would love a commentary (at least of the first one anyway)! Perhaps when the new one comes out?

Honestly, between the history in the Animatrix and the rave in the last one, I don't care if all the humans are destroyed. Kind of brought it on themselves, and if SF teaches us anything it's that we're going to just keep doing this. We're going to keep engineering sapient slaves and then, despite all the lessons of history, being surprised when they reason that slavery is no good.

Like James, my opinion has softened considerably on the sequels. I now like pretty much every theme, idea, character and set piece... up to a point. But almost all of those things get stretched way beyond their time and logic limits. Every scene is too long. Every piece of dialogue is overwritten. Every action scene is excessive. Every idea becomes ridiculous. Every character becomes a cartoon. With every element turned up to 11, the good stuff becomes fantastic and the bad stuff becomes hard going. But I'll take 'messy yet ambitious' over 'safe yet derivative' every day of the week.

I liked when they (the sequels) came out there was only maybe 6 months or so between movies. I feel if they had waited a year there would have been way more backlash or maybe studio interference to the third one.

Re: post-Matrix Wachowski stuff, I enjoyed Speed Racer and Cloud Atlas very much, but Jupiter Ascending was pretty awful. I’m not a big fan of the second two Matrix films either, but I’m very curious about this new movie. Watched this vid, but not the trailer, so I enjoyed hearing your thoughts. Also about this Big Sandwich thing, if you’d prefer people do that why not just shut down the Patreon site?
