I'm thinking people will have a similar situation that they had with The Rise of Skywalker. They'll get their hopes sky high, hype themselves up for the next two years, and be absolutely disappointed when the final product falls short.

I don't think it'll change anyone's minds. People who have wanted it for 4 years will say it's good regardless and people who dislike the Snyderverse will probably find more things to dislike

I have similar feelings for the DCEU as I do the Star Wars sequel trilogy. A great opportunity to build on to a fan base, and a chance make old fans happy. They both made mistakes and had problems, but in the end people will defend and people will attack. Personally I’m keeping my expectations low, but will definitely watch ZS’s JLeague.

I am for it! Corporate oversight can easily crush creativity in a film, tv show, comic, or other media. Let the creator do his thing and let us (the public) be the judge if his concept is better than what the suits created.

Oh, no doubt! A Director and writer with a fundamental misunderstanding of the characters he is making films about would only ever lead to the best possible outcome.

Forgive me if I'm speaking out of turn, but I have no faith in Snyder to pull this off even if the film is in his 'vision'. He's not exactly Kubrick and I think though the film will fall more in line with what he wants/wanted initially, it doesn't mean it will necessarily good or worth all of this faff. I like some of Snyder's films, but that's as far as I can go. He isn't a great filmmaker and I fear this will just be another steampunk, grey sludge firefest with some wise-cracks and lots of destruction.

Maybe it’s just me, but the Rise of Skywalker felt like a major surgery; impending feelings of dread and morbid curiosity leading up to it, vast sense of numbness and confusion during, and leaving with the thought that “well, at least it’s behind us now”.
