Three Body Problem, the book, is very hard sci-fi - very much about the ideas with not much focus on characters and their relationships. So I understand the changes made in the Netflix show, like making them all this little friend group in Oxford. Do wish they showcased more Asian actors, since Benedict Wong can't always be everywhere. (Although yeah; he was in the UK TV show '15 Storeys High' with the late great comedian Sean Lock. Well worth checking out).
