Newsletter 📰 March 2024 (Patreon)

Hey patrons!

I figured I'd start writing you guys a newsletter post toward the end of each month to let you know what was going on with me, the art, and what you can expect in upcoming months!

🥬First off - Collections!! I have finally started using Patreon's Collections feature and organized all the art into them. This means that if you have a favorite character, you can go to the Collections tab, and then select their Collection to see all the art I've ever made featuring them! Much easier than scrolling down endlessly.

🥬This month:

• Tusky is hard at work (🤔🥒) modeling for an art class. The painting is coming along well and I'm excited to share it with you guys!! I should have it done for April 1st so get ready to check it out then. Little teaser of how his face turned out above...
  

• High-tier patrons get to vote in a poll - actually TWO polls - to help design a new character for next month's painting!! It'll be another fantasy character in the D&D-inspired universe home to Verrix, Sipher, and others. The polls allow you to vote on what elements you want the new character to be designed from: first poll chooses the major element (Holy, Chaos, Life or Death) and the second poll that I'll post last this week chooses the minor element (Fire, Ice, Lightning, or Shadow). 🥬Next month:

• I'll be working on a painting of a new fantasy character based on whichever elements you guys vote for in the polls above. I've been really admiring the work of an illustrator from Blizzard in the old days named Glenn Rane and I kinda want to see if I can emulate his painting style and learn something from it in the process! So that'll be one of my goals with the painting.

🥬May:

• May is gonna be a special month, and maybe some of you can already guess why... The reason is that Father's Day falls in June, and you know we gotta celebrate that with another painting of Coach Dad (who might be my personal favorite character to draw, who knows lol)! So that'll be going on in May. I already have an idea for the scene in mind and I think it'll be a good one...

🥬And beyond...

• After that, it'll definitely be time to return to the Seamus + Eddie + Kal world to see what's going on with them. Not sure what shape that painting will take yet, but plenty of time to let some ideas bubble to the surface. We will see!

That's the rundown for the next few months! Hope that gives you all something to look forward to. I also wanted to say thank you to everybody who's on here supporting me. I don't think a day goes by where I don't feel grateful for that; especially as the specter of AI looms larger and larger over all us artists nowadays, knowing that you guys care enough about my art to support me on here means the world.
