I have gone back to blender to create a 3D render to help with the comic, after Cooper brought up the lackluster effort I did in the storyboard. Spent a good chunk on Friday creating these shapes while constantly googling blender tutorials. I fucking hate how they give you video tutorials first before text tutorials. I don't want to watch a 3 minute video to find a shortcut! Just write it down so I can read it in 5 seconds and get on with things!

Next weekend I plan to take a break from comic work. Not a question half episode thing, but a full on break. No comic work, whether it's Kat or B23 (outside of an outline, but that should only take me an hour or so). On Friday my buddy from Japan and his kid are gonna be arriving at DFW Airport for a 8 hour layover, so I'm planning on taking Friday off from work to go hang out with them! And since Friday is a wash in terms of getting work done, might as well make the whole weekend a wash as well!

It'll be the first TRUE weekend off for the year, something I mentioned the end of last year that I had wanted to start doing so as to give myself a bit of relaxation, what with me pulling 10-12ish hours of work a huge chunk of the week, plus additional work on weekends. Only reason it didn't happen in January was because of the water pipe bursting. Comic work was forced to stop while I cleaned up, so I didn't want to waste an additional weekend of not publishing anything. And in February B23 was in a mid-chapter break, so I went ahead and drew a commission I'd been late on, plus the Kat question episode. So not a true weekend off.
