I'm busy with a bunch of Bodysuit 23 and Kat shit, and you're just gonna toss out a light novel contest in my face like that?!

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH!

Spent the past two days writing a prologue because I hate myself and will toss more work onto my back if it means being able to pursue a creative career. The positives to this contest unlike the two Honeyfeed ones I participated are that there's no limitations outside of word count. Kat was written because they wanted a slice of life comedy with some fantastical elements. Lune was written because they wanted a romantic comedy.

But this contest? It's whatever the fuck you want. On top of that, there's none of that web novel publishing bullshit where you gotta write and push out chapters as you go. This is a "please write the entire thing and then submit it," situation.

Because of that, I figured I'd finally write my magnum opus: Spaceships Wielding Giant Swords.

I'm gonna finish editing the prologue and pass it off to a friend or two and see what they think before pursuing further, because good fucking god this is gonna be an endeavor. On the bright side I have 4 months to crank it out unlike Kat's 2 months and Lune's 3 months with zero prep time. Spaceships Wielding Giant Swords has had 6 years of development in my head with an entire story outline written up three years ago. Sure, things have changed since then, but at least I can begin cooking!
