The Gunbuster bluray has been super awesome. Only two episodes in so far, but the English dub has been really good. Always nice to hear Lisa Ortiz pop up in anime.

The video quality, though. God DAMN is it nice! The animation is stellar, and seeing all the brush strokes in the background art and the crystal clear line work is amazing.  If you haven't watched it and plan to, seek the bluray out. Not sure if it's streaming anywhere, but I'm sure it'll pop up on RetroCrush one day if it isn't there already.

Making my way through season 2 of OK KO. This show continues to get me to laugh out loud with its quirky loose animation. I appreciate the meta episode where KO learns he's inside a cartoon and nothing exists. Very much a existential crisis moment while doing stuff like showing the scene boundary and character's not being fully drawn.
