So the Demon Slayer movie in theaters was the last few episodes of the entertainment district arc, and one episode of the next season which is going to start soon. I wound up leaving after the last episodes of the entertainment arc so I could go to Target and pick up Atari 50th Anniversary Collection, but those two episodes I saw sure were pretty. Looks to me the animation really elevates the material with a good combination of great animation work and effects plus an intense soundtrack. Not to say Demon Slayer the manga was bad, but to me it was very much typical Shonen Jump fair. The anime, though, really gives the source material an extra oomph. If it had come out when I was 13-14 I would have been all over it in a heartbeat.

Atari 50th  Anniversary Collection: it's super neat! Sure, 95% of the games don't hold up well and I only dabbled in them for a minute or so before moving on, but the surrounding material giving context and behind the scenes stuff is totally worth it. I've always been super into video game history, lapping up the retro section at the back of Game Informer circa the early 00s, and G4TV's icons, and this game really scratches that itch. I love the interviews with ex staff talking about their experiences at the company, such as the massive drug use and being pioneers in a medium with no idea on what the hell they were doing. Highly recommend it if you like video game history.
