Drawing these poses was fun. Been doing 30 second gesture drawings for warmups whenever I do roughs, which I think has been helping with being able to pull off some of these poses. The very least it helps with getting something down on paper quickly and fix things without wasting so much time.

This Friday they're showing the new Demon Slayer film in theaters. Now, I only read up to when that Michael Jackson lookalike showed up. I thought the story and stuff was okay, but didn't grab my attention all that much. Very typical Shonen Jump battle fair, which isn't bad. But I also haven't watched any of the anime, which I've often heard elevates the material with its sakuga moments.

And because the new movie is part of AMC A-List, I'm going to go see the movie without watching anything prior or reading stuff to catch up! My hope is that, it being a Shonen Jump property, it won't be too difficult to hop in midway through a story at the start of a new arc/adventure/whatever. Kinda like when I first saw Dragon Ball Z, it was a random episode during the Frieza arc way back in the 90s. I'd then watch the the Raditz stuff on VHS from the video store, then in 1999 I saw the start of the "new" episodes on Namek and went from there. Sure, I was missing large chunks of episodes, but I wasn't lost for long.

Hopefully it'll be the same for Demon Slayer, or at the very least I'll enjoy the animation. Can't imagine it being as dull as that recent Sword Art Online film I saw couple weeks back.
