I went and saw Knock At The Cabin on Friday. It was enjoyable. I wanna say the last M. Night Shyamalan film I saw was Signs? I think? Anyway, point is I never had to deal with the burnout of the "what a twist!" shenanigans that occurred throughout the 00s and beyond from his output. But also with this film there wasn't a out of left field twist to the plot. You're basically given two different groups of thoughts from the start, and it's up to the viewer to wonder which they believe before the ending reveals which turned out to be true. It didn't blow my mind or anything, but was a nice way to enjoy a friday night.

Also the little girl's favorite movie was Kiki's Delivery Service. I wonder if that was in the script or if it was her actual favorite film and they went with that for the brief conversation it appears in.
