I was then gonna say something about this being a way to show Doris in such capacity that makes sense in universe in the current state of the comic, but I'll just move onward.

NEXT CHAPTER WRITING PROGRESS!

It's going alright! Probably got half the chapter written methinks and can move onward to storyboards with what I got. But I'm thinking maybe do one more pinup after this one? It'll buy me an extra update worth to work on it (not including the cover page, which is more or less a pinup).

Also thinking of going on a comic story related excursion to get a better idea on something and look for potential gag related stuff. Spoiler: it's a batting cage. Honestly can't remember the last time I've been to one. Probably when I did tee-ball/coach pitch? Must've been like 6 or 7 years old. The one I went to was at a Putt Putt Golf, which also had mini golf and an arcade that was a lot of fun. Mini golf sounds kinda fun too, actually. Maybe I can do that as well...
