Oh look! The consequences of Madison's actions!

For those in the US: Happy Thanksgiving! I'll be swinging by the folk's house tomorrow for thanksgiving dinner... at noon. At that point it might as well be Thanksgiving Lunch. Guess I'll stuff myself silly and then nap all day until night and stuff myself some more with left overs.

Edit: Oh God I ate so much food I'm dying.

Anyway, as not to leave you completely high and dry: I've posted it on the Discord server weeks back, but here's a cool documentary on the Japanese tech/entertainment expo Yume Kojo (Dream Machine), for which Doki Doki Panic (the source for Super Mario Bros 2) was made for! There's a lot of cool photos and home videos recorded of the months long event.

I've known for nearly decades now about the history of Super Mario Bros 2/Doki Doki Panic, but I knew very little of what the game was made for. It gives a lot of context to the design choices within the game itself. It's fascinating to see how Doki Doki Panic was just a teensy tiny component to this advertising behemoth of what looked like an awesome as hell expo!
