Vampire Survivors is a good game.

I'm late to the game in terms of talking about it, but it is indeed a fun little game to play on the steam deck. It has a zen like feel to it as you mindlessly mow down enemies via auto attacking, so all you need to do is focus on walking around. Downside is that I have gotten through 30 minutes on several runs now, so not sure how much more I'll be playing it. I'm not super into run based stuff, where the idea is to keep playing it over and over trying different styles of playing to progress through a run. I'm the "I find something that works and sticks with it" kind of guy. Regardless, roughly 6 hours of playtime on a $2-3 game (bought before price increase) is a hell of a lot of game for such a small amount.

In other news I'm cutting back on soda. Limiting my intake to just my 40oz cup I get during lunch at the gas station. "That's still a lot," you say. Yes, it is. I can assure you the amount of diet soda I was drinking was way way way more than that, on top of other shit like sparkling waters and decaffeinated tea. I'm sure if I cut back entirely I'd suffer from caffeine withdrawals, anyway. Progress!

I love that maniacal toothy grin she has as she plans on murdering him.

Hopefully you're experience with cutting out caffeine goes better than mine. I refer to it as my Year of Hell.

Just minimise the caffeine... I had to cut back on caffeine in painkillers because they drove my heart insane...

I cut caffeine years ago and felt great … but as I get older my doctor is saying I need to have some
