In episode 1x3, Razz points out that there are no stars any more; in 2x7, Bow's dads talk about stars and constellations being in the past; Etheria's day/night cycle is generated by its magical moons, since it has no sun, and characters refer to moonrise rather than sunrise. All of this happened as a result of Mara stranding Etheria in Despondos, an empty dimension, to hide it for [some reason]. Hordak said he only had to open a portal for long enough to send a message to Horde Prime, and that's the message we see Prime responding to at the end.

Ahhh, ok. I figured I had forgotten a piece. That definitely makes sense. 1x3 feels like a lifetime ago haha it's smaller details like that that I normally forget, and naturally...those are always the best ones. I thought Prime found them on their own. I remember Hordak saying it would only take a second, but I thought there would've been some sort of visual confirmation. Because the way it sounded (without the context of the signal) was that Prime's casting away of the "reject" was not good enough and wanted an end to him. But if this is the case, that totally throws away my prediction haha thank you for the clarification!

A note on 'helping the bad guys' - For both Shadow Weaver and Hordak its not really a case of 'the good guys naievely helping the bad guys, after which the bad guys predictably turn on them' For Shadow Weaver, the main reason Adora heals her is because Shadow Weaver is essentially her adoptive mother. Shadow Weaver raised Adora. So in spite of Shadow Weaver being an awful person, Adora is not just going to let her adoptive mother die. A mother is a mother, you know? As for Entrapta helping Hordak, I do not see it as a case of a good person naievely helping a bad person, because Entrapta is herself a flawed person (she doesn't seem to care/understand that her experiments are dangerous or that the weapons she is building for the Horde are used to hurt people). Right from the very first episode she appears in, Entrapta is shown doing questionable things and not really caring about who is harmed by her experiments. In her second appearance, at Princess Prom, Adora literally has to remind her that she joined the Princess Alliance, indicating that the Princess Alliance doesn't mean much to Entrapta. Entrapta doesn't really care that Hordak is waging a war against Etheria - all she sees is someone that shares her interest in science and who has knowledge that she craves. So she helps him. (And yeah, Hordak's backstory can be summed up as 'Daddy issues' XD)

Yeah + I personally see Adora helping Shadow Weaver as something that's supposed to tell us about her individual character, rather than the show preaching "this is the 100% right thing to do."
