Ah, Cat Fingers my beloved. What a wonderfully messed up episode to break in new viewers! XD I lovingly refer to cat fingers Steven as the "Kitty Cronenberg Machine," that whole plotline is so cursed ahah. You're so right though, despite being a wild idea and almost hilariously animated (with the cats being so low detail), the intensity of the music absolutely sells that climactic scene with Greg. You can FEEL his panic as a father, there. Also, woo, Connie intro! What a wonderful character.

XD Ahahahah don't feel sad for talking trash about Pearl, that's a valid opinion now or any time lol. Some characters just don't jive with people- and I can esp understand that with "overbearing mom" types ahahah. Although I'll definitely be curious to see how your opinion possibly evolves as you learn more about her through the s1-2 reactions.
