Malfunctioning Mannequinizer Poll (Patreon)

While working diligently on the next DSC chapter I am also planning and outlining the series the title of the poll is about!  Here is my question to you.

In the original captioned pictures the mannequins were conscious but we were not privy to their thoughts.

How do you want me to handle that in the new series??

AND

If we can see their thoughts should their state of mind/self change the longer they are transformed?

I tend to prefer a really slow mental break. It's important they fight, resist, fail. Perhaps even escape only to get caught again. Each failed escape is worse, since they what lies ahead. At some point the mental toll is to much, and they submit. I like to think, you could probably restore them, but they'd probably just stay posed. At this point I don't know if they have thoughts beyond obedience. As usual, the disclaimer is, I'm an asshat. (and my themes usually feel more torturous/punishing). Opinions are like noses, Yada yada

What Freddy said although I prefer that they recover gradually if restored and if transformed for brief periods of time recover just as quickly.
