Weekly update + announcements (Patreon)

Hello my friends!

Another week has flown by, and I hope you all have been happy and well!

Here are this week's updates! 😊

1. Where have I been?

You may have noticed that I've been a little less present in the comments, this week, and I just wanted to say that I will absolutely be back. I was just caught up in trying to meet deadlines (that, yes, I've set for myself), and needed to focus. 

I have missed chatting with you all, though, and will try to catch up on at least some of the comments, soon!

2. Heads-up: a break for Lunar New Year

Things will continue to be busy for me for the next little while, both in terms of work for the blog & Patreon, as well as real-life demands, which is why I think I will need to take the week of Lunar New Year off (starting 12 Feb).

As with the Christmas and New Year's break, this break will only apply to the weekly episode notes here on Patreon.

The EOY posts and reviews should continue as scheduled. 😊

3. EOY posts

This week, we'll be seeing two more EOY posts, this time, from Learjet and Christine - thank you both, for taking time to write!

Learjet's post will be out tomorrow, 22 Jan, while Christine's post will be out on Saturday, 27 Jan.

Martina's post was originally supposed to come out yesterday, 20 Jan, but as sometimes happens, real life got in the way, and Martina's post will be delayed. I'll keep you posted on when it will come out!

5. Replacement show

I ended up picking Knight Flower as the replacement show for The Story of Park's Marriage Contract, and 2 eps in, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

6. All-tiers Group Watch: I Know I Love You

We are doing an all-tiers group watch of c-drama I Know I Love You, which is a remake of kdrama One Spring Night, so if you liked One Spring Night, do consider joining us?

I am really enjoying the show (A LOT) so far! We've discussed up to episode 12, which means we're officially at the halfway point of this drama, which is only 24 episodes.

7. This week's Entertainment Drop

I've prepped this week's Entertainment Drop as usual, and I hope you guys enjoy. 

The entertainment news was a little quiet this week, which is why there are fewer trailers in this week's Drop. 

However, I did try to make up for it with a variety of tidbits - and in particular, I think you all might like the one which features the legendary Michelle Yeoh sharing her beauty routine - while talking about martial arts for her face. 😁
