I love how you guys enjoy hanging out here, in this Water Cooler corner!

Thanks to MC for the suggestion, CICUKate for seconding the suggestion, and thanks to j3ffc, for the inspiration behind the Water Cooler moniker. 😁

Basically, the Water Cooler is where we can post random things that we'd like to share with everyone here.

So, we'd use the Deep dive for spoilers, Spoiler-free zone for non-spoilery drama chats, and the Water Cooler, for everything else. Like your favorite takeaway Korean fried chicken, or a link to a photo of the amazing cookies that you baked. 😁

Please enjoy.

KFG ❤️

It kind of boggles me that there’s such a range of wacky ideas for reality shows. Anyway the latest one I came across, thanks to YouTube’s algorithm, is Jinny’s Kitchen. Park Seo Jun, Choi Woo Shik and V from BTS go all the way to Mexico to set up a little Korean street food restaurant under a very capable chef boss. Here’s a hilarious little clip of chef boss ordering Woo Shik to go distribute flyers to drum up business, but Woo Shik is not keen - https://youtube.com/shorts/Gb3199IDAHE?si=6tzJvx6xB8TMT7_a It’s on Amazon Prime Video - https://app.primevideo.com/detail?gti=amzn1.dv.gti.cd58a56b-ba74-4070-9410-472bc19443c3&territory=SG&ref_=share_ios_season&r=web And here’s an article about how Woo Shik got recognised! https://www.allkpop.com/article/2023/04/male-customers-expressed-their-amazement-at-seeing-parasites-choi-woo-shik-and-btss-v-working-at-a-restaurant-on-jinnys-kitchen

As background, V and Park Hyung Shik became good friends with Park Seo Jun while filming Hwarang together, and Park Seo Jun eventually introduced them to his other good friends Peakboy and Choi Woo Shik. The 5 eventually became good buddies known as the Wooga Squad. Wooga Squad was in another reality show In the Soop: Friendcation which I watched last year on Disney+ and enjoyed for its relaxed vibe, gentle humour and honest, vulnerable conversations. Oh and also in one episode, the friends watch Our Beloved Summer together and their reactions are hilarious!

As this edition of the Water Cooler fades into the past I just want to vent that it's been the kind of week where I've been able to watch nothing this week since my severely delayed flight home (plus having to watch on my fabulous iPhone 7 as I managed to smash the screen on my trusty iPad). And then I sat down last night for Doona! E5 and fell hard asleep half way through. Will try again on my next night off....

We gave up on Doona, mostly because my wife didn't like Doona herself. I still intend to finish it on my own, but I so rarely watch TV by myself...
