Another Mini Update + Announcement (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

Today, I wanted to let you all know a few things:

1. I'm doing better

As in, I'm feeling better than last week, even though progress is, as I mentioned last week, measured.

Happily, I now feel better able to mentally process the dramas on my screen, and I find myself able to sit up at my laptop for slightly longer periods of time versus last week, so.. I'm kinda planning to ease back into writing episode notes.

2. Easing back into things

I know you all have been urging me to take as much time off as I need, to recover, post-surgery, and I will, I promise.

It's just.. I felt like watching the shows that I'm covering here on Patreon, coz if too much time passes, I feel like I might lose too much momentum and perhaps not enjoy the shows as much?

But of course, I'm not able to jump back into my full schedule, where I basically released episode notes every weekday. I'm moving at half my usual speed, and I'm also only able to sit up to watch &/or write in smallish chunks instead of long stretches at a time.

SO INSTEAD, I will release episode notes in a more sporadic fashion, ie, when I have a set of episode notes ready, I'll release it.

And while I won't be following the actual day of the week that I had previously allotted to each show for the time being, I do plan to follow the same rotation, so that they come out in the same order, even if it's several days apart. Does that make sense?

So this week, I plan to start by putting up episode notes for Lost You Forever first, because that was where I stopped, when I prepped notes pre-surgery.

3. I'm dropping "Love is an Accident"

In getting back into my usual rotation of dramas, I found that "Love is an Accident" really wasn't working so great for me, so I've decided to drop it, and take on "Twinkling Watermelon" instead.

The Dropped post for "Love is an Accident" should come out in about 2 weeks, and in the meantime, my E1-2 notes for "Twinkling Watermelon" will be out sometime this week.

Spoiler: I really like "Twinkling Watermelon," so far! 🤩

4. "My Lovely Liar" review

As I mentioned in my announcement before I went for surgery, I managed to finish prepping my review of "My Lovely Liar" and it should be up on the main blog, as you read this. I hope you'll enjoy the read!

5. Today's Entertainment Drop

I was able to prepare today's Entertainment Drop as usual, so I hope you all enjoy.
