We've got a serious sageuk coming our way, folks.

Show's synopsis on MDL reads:

"A historical drama that deals with the second and third periods of the Goryeo-Khitan War. King Hyeonjong of Goryeo and his political teacher, Commander-in-Chief Gang Gam Chan, unite the people of Goryeo and lead a war against Khitan."

This is adapted from the novel "Goryeo-Khitan War: Sweet Rain in The Winter" (고려거란전기: 겨울에 내리는 단비) by Gil Seung Soo (길승수).

Choi Soo Jong, Kim Dong Jun and Ji Seung Hyun star.

Show will be 32 eps, and will air on Sat and Sun, from 4 Nov 2023 to 18 Feb 2024, on KBS2. No word yet on which streaming platforms will carry this one.
