Season 2 of "Arthdal Chronicles" is a go! (Patreon)

I didn't watch Season 1 of Arthdal Chronicles, so I'm not personally invested in this news, but I do recall that several of you watched and liked Season 1, so this should be happy news for you!

Writers Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon, who wrote Season 1, will also write Season 2. Among the cast, only Jang Dong Gun has been confirmed to return.

No word yet on whether Song Joong Ki, Kim Ji Won and Kim Ok Bin will return to join Season 2.

Filming will commence this year, with Show looking to air sometime in 2023.

"Arthdal Chronicles" Production Company Announces 2nd Season Will Start Filming This Year

Production company Studio Dragon has officially announced that the highly-anticipated second season of "Arthdal Chronicles" is aiming to start production this year. Previously in February 2020, tvN confirmed that the second season of "Arthdal Chronicles" is aiming to film in the second half of the year.

@Jennifer - Welllll, the violence in Space Sweepers isn't very graphic. It's more the kind where a space gun is fired and then you see the bodies are fallen so no blood & guts. Kind of like the violence in Star Wars. If you do decide to watch it, let me warn you about something - It has a huge international cast and the so-called English some of the characters are speaking is unintelligible to me. So I watched the dubbed version this time and that was great for the English speakers in the cast but our Korean stars don't fare so well with the dubbing. Sometimes I would go "There is no way a Korean would say something like that!" and then I'd switch back to Korean with English subtitles and see that they didn't say that. I can't understand the need to add stupid things like they did in the English dubbing. You know I'm watching Picard. And, of course, I've been watching my girl in Discovery. What's the new Star Trek that's coming? Are you watching The Lower Decks?

@Beez - Yikes! Forgot to response. Soooo sorry. Ah ok, thats helps to understand it better :-) Oh I so wont do Dubbing then. Its amazing how badly they mess up subtitles and the dubbing translation. Its really appalling actually. I hope they get better as times goes by? OPS! I meant Discovery. Season 1 of Picard was not my favorite, a little too dark and hopeless for me at the time. Once all the episodes load, I might try again because who doesnt love Picard??? No, I havent tried Lower Decks, yet. My Sci Fi Buddy Adrian watched/watching it I believe. Are you watching The Lower Decks?
