I really, really like Chae Soo Bin, which is the only reason this show is halfway on my radar. On the other hand, her male lead is Kang Daniel, previously from boy group Wanna One, and this is his acting debut. That.. doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence in me, I hafta confess. Unless he's a natural-born acting talent - which he could be? Nobody knows, since nobody's seen him act before..? 🤷🏻‍♀️

The premise is about Chae Soo Bin's and Kang Daniel's characters entering police university, and their journeys as young adults pursuing their dreams. And of course, there's a love story at the center of this as well.

Rookie Cops has 16 eps, and will air from 26 Jan to 16 Mar 2022, on Wednesdays, on Disney+.
