I don't always do prep work like this. Usually I just dive in to a drawing. This time though I felt that I needed to explore Bridget's construction a bit to see how she can be drawn. She wears a lot of layers (it is the 1880's in American Tail), so with this I can better understand how I need to draw her properly. I'm also able to decide on what she could wear in my drawing. I think the simple night gown works best for her and feels appropriate for her era. Thoughts?
