Hello, my dear FreshMen!

We're curious to know your opinions about having voice acting for the Main Character after playing S2E1.

A few members of our team think this would enhance the experience, and make it more enjoyable. Do you agree?

Let us know!

i think a big part of the immersive experience is hearing your own voice in your mind as you read dialog....the voice actors have been very good for the other characters, although its just one take on a piece of dialog, i enjoy multiple playthroughs and consciously change tone and inflections for the characters' lines in scenes which i think helps them become more realistic and can generate some emotional attachment....if everyone has voice then i think you risk becoming basically a move where you are just watching someone else...but as long as the option is there to mute its all good

yes and no, it would be nice to have it but have an option to turn it of....lets say you do your main play thro reading it completely great, but if you doing the play through for second or third or x time it would be nice not to have to read all the text every time...and just enjoy the beauty of the game...

mc is supposed to be us. so I prefer to imagine it with my voice better

I think the MC being silent would good for most people, HOWEVER, I think there should be an option to have a dubbed voice for the MC. It won't negatively impact people's playthrough because they could simply choose to have it off.

Should just make it an audio option to have the MC's voice on or off if ppl do not like the player's voice and want the protagonist to be silent for their imagination of how he would actually sound like

I actually don't want any of it to have voice acting. And yes, I'm well aware that I can just turn it off. No, I don't want to be done at all for a very simple reason: The quality of the dialogue suffered a bit for it in s1e1. All through season 1, I was quite impressed with the dialogue. Not like "Wow, this is rivaling Joe Abercrombie" or anything, but just that it was above average for an AVN. It wasn't over blown or too subdued, but just right for each character. This wasn't the case in the new episode, because there clearly was some consideration of "What do I want to hear the voice actor say" rather than just thinking "What would the character say in this case". That extra bit of consideration was immediately noticeable, and detrimental to the overall quality of the game, and made the dialogue average for an AVN, which is a real shame. On top of which, I'd rather that extra money and effort went into making the sex scenes even better.

Although, to be honest, I play with the sound off

I play with the sound off . I was very disappointed with episode one both the length and the development of the characters . There was a flaw in the program where MC chooses to sleep with Chloe or on the couch , it would only allow me to choose the couch .

I agree with this completely. For the most part, these kind of games don't benefit from VO. I'm a fast reader, my imagination gives the text a life in my head. For the most part, not to be harsh, but the VO isn't very good. It makes sense, as you're just asking random actors to read and record a bunch of lines. They're not actually conversing with each other. They take too long to speak, it sounds stilted, etc. After just a few minutes, I simply turned all of the voices off. If any VO might be good, it could be during the lewd scenes, just for a more visceral experience there, but otherwise, I think it is a detriment to the game.
