Status Update: Speed boosts, corrections and animations (Patreon)

Hello, dear Freshmen!

We are wrapping up another very productive week. Renders are being fixed, animations are almost done and we managed to get some very big improvements in render time.

By debugging our environments and testing different render settings, we got them to render 8x faster! This will be HUGE for animations as it will decrease render times a lot.

We are updating EP6 environments to these new parameters, and have already updated the first place that has a sex scene in episode 7, so we can hit the ground running when we get there.

We're also implementing new techniques (such as AI interpolation) in our previews, and they will cut render times in half. This means faster previews, faster reviews and more productivity.

The new rigs we developed for episode 7 are out of R&D, and in testing. I believe they will be a fundamental part to boost our production speed in episode 7.

Here's a summary of our progress through episode 6 so far:

• Static scenes are almost done, and going through the last stages of quality assurance (review and fixes)
• Animations are being finalized
• Animations for Alpha 50% are already being rendered (with almost half of them done)

Alpha 50% is almost done. As I play the game again and again and again in order to review it, I can feel we're almost there. A bit more quality here. A bit more of emotion there. Just a bit more and we'll be ready. It's quite a thing to see the game evolve each week. I can't wait to show you all that we've been working on.

Alpha 50% will be released to a few testers in a couple of weeks. After that, Beta 50% should come quickly. Then Alpha 100%, Beta 100% and full release.

I'm very impressed with our progress. We're becoming faster, better and more productive, and soon we'll be unstoppable. I'm specially AMAZED with our Animation Team. The work ladiesman217 and CharmingGuy are doing is magnificent, and I'm very excited for it to reach you!
